Renewal of a Trademark
A trademark has to be renewed every ten years. In the event the deadline has lapsed, the renewal can be effected within 6 months after the deadline by paying an additional fee of 20%.
What you have to provide
Basicly the information we need to renew a trade mark is the same as for the first application. If you do not have this information any longer (change of ownerships, etc.) we can ask for an offical copy of the register in order to retrieve the complete set of information needed.
In the event the trademark was assigned to a new owner and the assignement has not been registered yet, we first have to record the complete chain of assignements, name changes, changes of legal form etc. before we are allowed to renew the trademark for the acutal owner.
